这个世界都这么不公平了，还有很多人整天希望它是公平的，更sad了。
When the world is built, it is not surposed to be anything that is fair. The powerful dominate, the weak obey, that is the rule.
If you really want to a fair world, be the powerful, and build it yourself...

无毒不丈夫。 I think this is applicable to most of the successors, even though u may claim they are not true successors.
btw, here my definition of successor is his wealth/reputation.
那句话本来是，量小非君子，无度不丈夫。很多人故意说成无毒，为成者王侯的不择手段辩白。it is true that power is the determining factor in this world.. but those who climb up to power using viscious means will not be respected by ppl and history, when compared to the true successors. so they don have reputation...
In this world, when others are using viscious means, u have to protect urself. the most effective protection is counter-attack...
btw, in this history, who are, or shall i say, who is the true successor without using any viscious means?
sometimes, viscious means may be the optimum choice.
sad though it is, but this is the way the world goes so you have to accept it
